In less than three days it will be time for a new game. You know that "Where's Matt" thing they do on NBC? Well, it's time for the Newsvine version. Someone can call me and ask what state i'm in and - if I know the answer I will tell them.
But seriously, thanks to everyone who has helped me plan this, especially Lucy, Dr. Know and Killfile.

My general rule for people I meet in person is everything is off-the-record, meaning I won't repeat anything you tell me.Otherwise people aren't as open as they could be and it's weird enough getting used to seeing what a person is like online vs offline without worrying that Scott will repeat what they just said about their mother in law.
And I should warn those who are about to meet me that I am more shy in person, sometimes even speechless.
Anyway, Anyway while I won't be writing up what was said and done during these mini-vinemeets I will take photos and post them.
Here, for example, is a photo from a mini-vinemeet last weekend when Katrix and Marilyn saw me off.
Oh and the mascot for the trip are ducks, of the rubber ducky type, (yes, like in that photo.) Why? Well, I explain over here my fowl fetish while also sharing a favorite new duck story. I have also promised FestiveWarrior a re-telling of a favorite duck story when I visit her.

I'm moving out Sunday and am then driving to see Killfile and other local Viners. That will probably be the easiest drive of the trip.

Monday I'm driving from Va. to the Indianapolis area to spend the night at Festive Warrior's house. I will either wave at, or stop by for a quick chat, with Mykola and Ryan in Columbus, Ohio (site of a vinemeet last May - photos here ) (Google says that will be an 8 1/2 hour drive)

Tuesday Monday will drive to Nashville to meet Angel - That will be about a 5 1/2 hour drive (though it may be longer since I'll be driving a u-haul trailer)
WednesdayI will drive to Arkansas to see Fugitive (6 1/2 hour drive)
Thursday I will go see Rottlady.
