Obama Critics Rebuttal HQ

If you are like me (and god help you if you are) you're getting a bit tired of reading the same criticisms and arguments against Obama day after day. Especially since many of them have been rebutted.

So I had an idea. Obama has a web page to rebut hoaxes and false rumors and I'm sure McCain has one too.

Why not have an article that serves as an index of articles and seeds at Newsvine that rebut some of these arguments and attacks.

That's what I hope to do with this article

I'll post some arguments and rebuttals to get us started.

The Middle East Trip

1. The alleged snub of the troops, disproven here and here and here (with McCain's commerical)

2. The "volume" argument, i.e. the media is spending too much time on Obama and not enough on McCain - rebutted here this piece: Obama lavished with airtime -- and criticism

3. The media was not covering McCain at all, rebutted here with this NYT analysis piece pointing out the boring stuff McCain was doing while Obama was doing much more newsworthy events

4. The media isn't asking hard questions - rebutted and explained here

5. The general catch-22, i.e. he gets criticized for not going to Iraq then get criticized for the media coverage when he DOES go to Iraq.

The alleged liberal media bias

Stacy seeded a study disputing the bias issue. Wooblahalso wrote a story disputing the liberal media theory. Stacy also seeded a great story with this amazing headline: That "Liberal Media" that is totally in the bag for Obama edits out McCain's embarassingly false statement about The Surge during CBS interview as did Bondibox
