I'm working on a political analysis piece about Hillary's honesty problem.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

We implore the Clinton campaign to immediately desist from repeating this story," said Rick Castrop, chief executive officer of the O'Bleness Health System.

Linda M. Weiss, a spokeswoman for the not-for-profit hospital, said the Clinton campaign had never contacted the hospital to check the accuracy of the story, which Mrs. Clinton had first heard from a Meigs County, Ohio, sheriff's deputy in late February.

A Clinton spokesman, Mo Elleithee, said candidates would frequently retell stories relayed to them, vetting them when possible. "In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it," Mr. Elleithee said. "If the hospital claims it did not happen that way, we respect that

When I look at Hillary Clinton, one word screams at me: fraud. This article just reinforces the legitimacy of that viewpoint. She consistently exaggerates - or flat out makes up - events. "I was shot at in Bosnia." No, you were not. "I was instrumental in bringing peace to Northern Ireland." No, you were not. "An Ohio woman and her baby died because she did not have health insurance." No, she did not. The Clinton spokesperson even said they didn't confirm its veracity: "In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet [the story]." Then why did your candidate repeat it?

If Clinton wants to talk about policy, that's fine by me. I enjoy it when politicians and the media focus on what's actually important. Instead, Clinton makes things up to make herself appear more experienced.

Ah, Ireland! I was trying to remember yesterday the other lie or exaggeration she got caught in and that's it. Thanks!
