And even Leno, the "softest" and least confrontational interviewer in the world, might find it harder to get guests if the strike continues, especially if the WGA raises a fuss about Leno -- himself a guild member -- writing his own monologue. According to a WGA statement yesterday, strike rules "prohibit Guild members from performing any writing services during a strike for any and all struck companies," with monologues specified as one of the forbidden forms.
