It's nice to see some of the great people are still active on the 'Vine... well it's been a while but it sure is good to see (or should I say Read) you again my friend.
(MarcusK... not that you should remember)— Marc_Kh
You will laugh (I hope) when you read what my 'horoscope' said today....
"If you have always felt the desire to do something as a writer, dear Taurus, now is the time to take the plunge. You certainly don't lack the imagination! The problem you have may be that you have more difficulties taking your prose seriously. Don't think so seriously about being a writer with a capital "W." Just write! And above all, don't hesitate to let people read what you write. A writer's group would be a great way for you to come out of hiding."
Sometimes they are 'timely' aren't they?....
Thank you for all your hard work promoting writing and writers on the vine...
Scott is one prolific guy. Blown away in Kalamazoo. nan.
thanks man for such great articles, I love it. Its absolutely an inspiration to all who loves to write.
Thank You for the add....:) Any helpful advise for the Newsvine? I can't wait to add to my leaf...
Thanks Again...— Lady Bug

WOW! Scott without a duck!
Austin's about to get a whole lot weirder
Scott? I don't mean to be rude, but do you do anything besides Newsvine? I mean, come on, every time I go on, so are you. Now, I guess you could just leave your computer on all the time, Buts its cool, man. I still think you are a beast. :-)
Where are you in your new profile picture? It's cool. [Not very punk, though.]
— tyler
Scoop you are one of those rare gems that one only admires and feels a certian envy that we can't share your deep abiding compassion you have for people. I love you my friend.

This Year in History: Santa Cruz Ca. reveals its attitude towards the Homeless. KSBW's Dan Green spent 3 nights covering the execution style murder of a dog beloning to the owner of Ben Lomond's Hennfligs Bar. KSBW chose not to report on the brutal beating death of a local homeless girl called Mikala. The Sheriffs dept. responding to a homeowners complaint that "someone had been pouning on her door begging to be let in because she was killing her" arrived 30 minutes later to find Mikala's beaten body on the lawn. Her memorial service (closed casket to spare family and friends the sight of her mangled features) was covered on page three of th Sentinel and include a story about her life in foster homes, her drug problems and her police record. When asked why KSBW had not covered the murder inspite of calls from her friends and family the news desk replied "They had not been notified by the Santa Cruz Police Dept.". There are still posters posted offering a $6000 dollar reward for the arrestt and conviction of the person or persons responsible for murdering the dog. There is no active case on Mikayla's murder
I was thinking about the Fugazi quote you have on your profile and I have alway taught the same way, can you imagine if you were what you own, damn I would be nothing cause I own nothing.
